  • Can someone else drive the rental car besides the registered drivers?

    Only drivers registered in the contract can drive the vehicle. Additional drivers can be added for an extra fee.

    Additional charges will apply for exceeding the mileage, as outlined in your e-ticket.

  • Can I return my car early?

    Yes, early return requests can be made via the SelfDrive app; however, no refunds will be issued for early returns.

  • What is the smoking policy for rental vehicles?

    Smoking is strictly prohibited in all rental cars. Violations may result in additional cleaning fees.

    The fuel level should match the level at the time of pickup. If not, an additional fee will be charged.

    A 10% fee of the total invoice value applies if the cancellation is made before delivery.

  • How do I receive the confirmation?

    The booking confirmation will be shared via email, and an SMS will be sent to the registered phone number. You can also access the e-ticket from the SelfDrive app.

  • What do I do if I do not receive my confirmation?

    If you don't receive your confirmation, simply log in to the SelfDrive app to access your e-ticket using the registered mobile number.

    One-Time Documentation refers to the requirement of submitting your documents only once during the initial registration process.

    Yes, you will receive invoices for any non-rental charges via your registered email or through the SelfDrive app.

  • Are there late payment charges for delayed rental and non-rental payments?

    Yes, late payment charges may apply. Please check your invoice for details.

  • How can I claim the security deposit?

    To claim your security deposit, open the SelfDrive app and tap the claim button in the Deposit Credit section. The deposit can be claimed after 30 working days of returning the rental car.

  • Where can I access my invoices?

Insurances

  • Do I need insurance to rent a car from SelfDrive?

    Yes, insurance coverage is included in daily, weekly, and monthly rentals for flexibility. You can choose from different coverage options:

    • Pro Coverage: Covers all damages.
    • Plus Coverage: Covers tire and windshield damage.
    • Basic Coverage: Waives 50% of the excess amount.

  • What is insurance excess?

    Insurance excess is the maximum amount you are responsible for paying in the event of an accident or damage, whether it’s your fault or due to unidentified third-party damage.

  • What happens if I am at fault for an accident?

    If you are at fault for an accident, the insurance excess amount will apply. For assistance, please log into the SelfDrive app and contact the service provider through the Emergency Assistance section.

Return

  • How do I end my reservation?

    To end your reservation, you can place the return request using the SelfDrive app under the "Return Request" section. Please note that it is mandatory to place the return request 24 hours before the rental expiry; otherwise, the booking will be auto-extended.

  • What happens if I return the vehicle late?

  • Can I return the car without fuel?

    When returning a rented car, the fuel level should match the level at the time of pickup. If it does not, an additional fee will be charged.
